Last year, I worked with Funkoos on a review of their organic cotton bodysuits, so I was excited that they wanted to work together again this year. I just love their mission – to manufacture clothes in 100% fair-trade work environments, keep clothing purely organic, and give a portion of profits back to the planet through many charitable causes.
This time we got to try out the Funkoos Organic Denim Jeans for Kaylee. They are made extremely well, and I could see them lasting through a couple of kids. The organic cotton is very durable and washed very well.
We chose a pair of jeans in 24 months. They seem to run a little bigger than some of the other brands of jeans Kaylee has right now, which is fine because that means she can wear them for longer.
The one thing I wish they had was an adjustable waistband. Kaylee has thinned out a lot recently so we ended up having to fold over the top of these jeans to get them to stay up on her (which is why I didn't include a picture of her wearing them). I think they'll fit her perfect in a few months though.
The cut is very cute and the color of the denim is very fashionable as well. My girls are both starting to actually care about what they wear, so this is surprisingly important 😉
Overall, we really like the jeans and I always feel great knowing that my girls are wearing organic clothing – I hate thinking about exposing them to pesticides and other chemicals!
If you come back tomorrow for the Green Resolutions Giveaway Hop, you'll have a chance to win a pair of Funkoos Organic Jeans for your child!
