Let me walk you through how the application works. For example, let’s say you were looking for an electrician to install a ceiling fan. Simply go to the Friend Trusted app, which you have downloaded to your Android or iPhone, and choose the Electrician.

After you click on the Electrician image, you’ll be asked to describe what you need done. You can shoot a short narrated video that  describes how you want a ceiling fan installed in the master bedroom, and shows the location of that installation to potential contractors. If you don’t want to shoot a video, you can also upload pictures and a written description.

After you hit submit, four professional electricians are immediately assigned; the screen status indicates that the system is awaiting quotes.

Ten minutes later, you get a push notification that a bid had been received. 15 minutes later, you get another message that indicates you’ve received a total of three bids. This is what the screen will look like at this point.
