I learned that they are the only approved menstrual cup sold in Canada! I also love that they compare using the diva cup as opposed to tampons as important as switching from plastic to canvas bags!!!!! Love the comparison!

I think it may depend on the strength of your muscles. I read that if you have trouble keeping it in place, you probably need to do Kegels.

I currently use the DivaCup and have since 2003. I had 4 vaginal births ranging from 8lbs 1oz to 10lb 2oz and have only had one incident and it was the second month I used it. Even then, nothing happened, I noticed it felt funny and I was able to make it to the restroom, where it shifted a bit when I sat down to remove it. I do yoga, Zumba and run 5ks regularly and have never had an issue. I also have a heavy flow most months. I love my DivaCup (I’m hoping to win one for my oldest daughter).

I learned that since hygiene is a real issue in 3rd world countries, DivaCup donates money to charity instead of donating menstrual cups. They support a charity that provides vitamins and supplements. They also support Pads4Girls.
