One of the things I want to focus on this year is to make more organic and sustainable fabric purchases. I just feel better when my girls are wearing clothes made from fabrics that I know haven’t been treated with nasty chemicals!

So we were super excited to receive a pair of organic cotton pajamas from Skylar Luna. The children’s line is designed by Wen Reese, who comes from a long line of textile and apparel entrepreneurs. The eco-friendly PJs are produced in her family’s factory, so she can ensure quality, craftsmanship and on-time delivery.

Upon opening the package, I was pleased to see the packaging is a simple, reusable linen bag – no plastic here!

Their style is very different from the typical pajamas the girls have – they are simpler (love simple), but stylish at the same time. While I love all of their fun stripe designs, when I saw the Lace Long Sleeve PJs, I knew they were the right ones for Zoë!

Zoë will be 5 in May, but she’s very tall for her age – people are often surprised to learn that she’s only 4. She’s at that stage where I know she’ll be outgrowing her size 5T clothes soon, but she’s not quite all the way into a 6 yet.

We decided to go with a size 6 in the Skylar Luna pajamas and I’m happy we did! They are definitely a little big on her, but the nice cuffs on the ankles and wrists keep the pajamas in place and I know they’ll comfortably fit her for a while. Look how cute she is!

Zoë is very picky about seams – if she can feel them, she won’t wear the clothes. Luckily Skylar Luna uses flat interior seams, which is perfect for Zoë. She says that they are one of her favorite pairs of pajamas.
