Attention Bloggers: Sign Up to Green Your Mom for Mother’s Day {Giveaway Hop}

What better present to give your mom for Mother’s Day than a Green Gift? I’m teaming up with EcoCrazy Mom and Simple City Life to bring you the Green Your Mom Giveaway Hop, May 1-7, 2012.

If you’re a Green Mom Blogger, or just a Blogger with an interest in becoming more green, I invite you to join us for this event! It’s a great opportunity to learn more about great green brands!

Here are the Event Details:

Dates:

The event will begin at 12:01 AM EST May 1, 2012 and end at 11:59 PM EST on May 7, 2012.

What You Must Do As A Participant (Mandatory):

What You Need to Do Now:

• Grab the button and post it in a prominent place on your blog (preferably in your sidebar).
• Sign up with your Blog Name on the linky with an accurate email address that you check often.
• Secure sponsors that fit the theme of the event (Must be Green / Natural / Eco-friendly / Sustainable and be a good gift for Mother’s Day).

What You Need to Do Later:

• Host a giveaway posted on your blog that totals at least $20 for one winner. You may offer multiple prize packages as long as each package is valued at $20 or more. If you have multiple prizes, there must be one main post for this giveaway. The giveaway must run for the duration of this event.
• Include a Green Your Mom Event Button in your giveaway post to identify the giveaway as being a part of this hop.
• Include a few sentences about the event and the hosts in your main post (the post must contain links to the hosts sites).
• Include the linky that we will provide later within your giveaway post so your readers can easily hop to the other giveaways.
• Choose your winner within 48 hours of the event closing and announce the winner on your blog (on the Rafflecopter form is fine).

What We Would Like You To Do As A Participant (Optional):

• Join the Green Moms Network Facebook Group.
• Ask questions if you have them. You can reach the hosts in the Facebook group or via email.
• Keep the giveaway entries simple and use Rafflecopter if possible. Ideally, no more than 1 mandatory entry. It is preferable that you turn of CAPTCHA during the event. Abide by all Facebook guidelines and no extra entries for purchases.
• Include a daily Tweet entry option using the event hashtag #GreenMoms.
• Publicize your giveaway. (We will publicize the event, but it is your responsibility to publicize your own individual giveaway.)

What We Will Do as the Hosts:

• Answer any questions that you may have!
• Publicize the Green Your Giveaway Hop.
• Communicate with you.
• Tweet/Retweet out tweets with the event hashtag: #Green Moms.

How to Join

To participate in this event, you can choose to either pay an entry fee or write a promotional blog post. Send the $5 admin fee to chrystal {dot} johnson {at} yahoo {dot} com (as a Service), OR write a post announcing the event in your own words that includes the following information:

Please make sure to add a personal touch to the post and be sure it’s at least 150 words or longer.

AFTER you have sent the admin fee via PayPal OR posted about the event, fill out this form and add your blog to the linky below. Use an email address that you check regularly. Also, check the spelling of your email address that you enter in the linky. We will use this email address to contact you.
