A chance to show my children how beautiful the Earth is and ways we can keep it that way. We practice this everyday, but we like to take a break from the TV, get outside, and do some Earth pampering!
Earth Day to me means celebrating the beauty of the Earth that God made and leaving it a better place than we found it.

Earth Day to me is honoring the planet which supports and nurtures us.
I am Native American. To me Earth Day symbolizes a part of our culture that we hold dearly to us, being close to nature and respecting it.

Earth Day means to me giving back to the earth. Also being on the earth just one more day is a blessing. Picking up trash off the ground and planting trees giving us enriched oxygen back. It all adds up!

It means teaching my children to be respectful to people and the environment.

Earth Day means to think and make conscious efforts to be greener. So far, we recycle and re-use as much as we can, we cloth diaper, I’m transitioning to mama cloth and family cloth. I don’t use paper towels anymore. I buy green cleaning products.
