berenstain-bearsWatching movies is one of my family’s favorite pastimes. While I wish we watched more grown-up movies, I have to confess that we watch a lot of children and family movies.

Anytime we get new movies, the girls want to watch them right away, so they were excited when our newest movies from Phase 4 Films were delivered for review:

  • MVP
  • MVP2
  • Berenstain Bears DVD Box Set

Kaylee’s favorite animal is a monkey, so she squealed with delight when she saw the MVP and MVP2 (MPV = Most Valuable Primate) DVDs come out of the box.

These DVDs are about Jack, an adventurous chimp. In MVP he learns to play hockey and in MVP2 he learns to ride a skateboard. We enjoyed watching both of these DVDS – they’re cute and funny.

We’ve actually seen MXP (Most Extreme Primate) as well where Jack is a snowboarder. The girls really love that one since they are learning to snowboard and Santa gave them snowboards for Christmas this year.

Berenstain Bears DVD Box Set

I grew up with Berenstain Bears books and the girls have several of them as well, so they were also excited to receive this box set. I think we let each of the Berenstain Bears DVDs play through 3 times before I finally said enough!

The girls thoroughly enjoy these DVDs. I like that the stories in these cartoons teach good life lessons, like being yourself. It’s always neat to see some of your favorite children’s books come to life!

You can check out these DVDs and more from Phase 4 Films here.
