We try to live an eco-friendly lifestyle, so I am always interested in learning about new products that will further that goal. One thing I have had a lot of trouble minimizing my use of is Ziploc baggies. When I worked a corporate job, I used a ton of them because I brought my lunch most days, but even now I use a lot of them.

I was recently contacted by Three Little Birds Design Company, a company that handcrafts reusable snack and sandwich bags—Planetpack Reusable Baggies. I had the opportunity to review each of the sizes of baggies: Snack Bag, Medium Lunch Bag and Large Lunch Bag.

They are made from USA-grown natural, organic cotton to eliminate the risk of exposing food to chemicals that can be found in dyes and other unnatural materials. They feature durable construction and have a closure similar to Velcro that is strong yet child-friendly. You can even machine wash and dry them.

The construction of the Planetpack Reusable Baggies is very high quality. The Velcro closure is very sturdy and easily will hold in whatever you pack in it. I love that they’re made of natural, organic cotton. It makes me feel good to know that the foods my girls are eating haven’t been exposed to toxic chemicals leeching from plastic baggies.

If you’re looking for an eco-friendly way to pack lunches in your home, check out Planetpack Reusable Baggies. They even offer free shipping on orders over $24!

The company recently started a Refer-A-Friend program. For every five purchases you refer (just have your friends enter your name in the comments at checkout or call us), you get a free medium Planetpack Reusable Baggie! If you make a purchase, please remember to enter my name (Chrystal Johnson) at checkout, and the be sure to refer your friends so you can earn free bags too!
