Intel provided me with the HP 15.6” Silver Fusion Touchscreen Laptop with Intel® Core™ i3-6100U processor for review and I was compensated to produce this review.
Let's face it. Mom's needs usually end up at the bottom of the list. Most of us are nurturers, and focus so much on caring for our families that we forget to take care of ourselves.
The thing we all need to wake up and realize is that if we don't take of ourselves, no one will. If you're taking care of yourself, the rest of the family will want to take care of you too. It's funny how that works.
Have you thought about what you want for Mother's Day? It's right around the corner, so now is the time to start thinking about what you want and sharing that with your family.
When is the last time you got a new computer? A computer is an amazing tool. It can allow you to express your creativity, explore a new hobby, continue your education and so much more. I feel lost without my laptop!
I had the opportunity to try out a new computer recently that I think would make a fabulous Mother's Day Gift. Intel sent me the HP 15.6” Silver Fusion Touchscreen Laptop, a very affordable laptop that will let you explore your interests this year.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the box is the texture of the laptop. It's not smooth and slippery like most laptops I've owned. It has a grippier feel that is a lot better for moms trying to juggle so many things.
This touchscreen laptop is powered by an Intel® Core™ i3-6100U processor with 8GB of memory. It'll do everything most moms need, like running multiple programs and browsing the Internet at the same time. It lets you open files and programs quickly, while seamlessly switching between applications and web pages without delays.
I know that I take a ton of pictures as do most moms. The HP 15.6” Silver Fusion Touchscreen Laptop has a 1 TB hard drive so there's plenty of space to store those pictures. I use OneDrive to back them up.
Speaking of pictures, you can use an app called HP Orbit to cast images from your phone to your laptop. I discovered it when I was setting up this HP laptop.
Within seconds, I was able to cast a picture I took of my girls at the lake a few days earlier to my new laptop and set it as the wallpaper. It was so much easier than other transfer methods when I want to quickly transfer an image from my phone to my computer.
It also has a 6 hour battery life, so you can bring it with you to the park or story time at the library and work on your passions while the kids have fun.
This laptop is a lot lighter than my old one too. I was really surprised the first time I picked it up because it does have a CD/DVD drive/burner as well. That makes it more portable.
Want to sneak in an episode of your favorite show? The HP Silver Fusion Touchscreen Laptop has a beautiful 15.6-inch WLED-backlit touchscreen display with Intel HD graphics 520. It also features 4x more pixels than full HD screens.
That means crisper, clearer images for an immersive viewing experience. It also offers smooth streaming of HD entertainment when you have a good internet connection.
One of the things that I think is super cool is how quickly you can log on. It has fingerprint log on just like my older computer, but it also has facial recognition technology. So you can log on by just looking at your computer.
It runs on the Windows 10 OS so you have all of the latest features that come with that too.
The HP 15.6” Silver Fusion Touchscreen Laptop is available at Walmart.com.
Be sure to send this link to your family and let them know what you want for Mother's Day!
