Glass Nail Files: My New Beauty Obsession

I have always had a crazy obsession with filing my nails. I don’t know exactly where I got it from, but I do have flashes of memories from 5th grade comparing nails with other girls on the school bus.

I have always been happy with my simple metal nail files, so I was a bit skeptical when I heard about glass nail files. I didn’t see how a chunk of glass could file your nails – but they do, and they do an amazing job!

I got to try 2 styles by Mont Bleu from Design Glassware.

The plain blue colored one:

I also got a really girly one with Swarovski crystals:

These awesome glass nail files are made from high-quality tempered Czech glass (aka crystal). According to the company, they are the safest and most durable manicure tool. These ones even have life-long guarantee on their filing surface!

I am totally sold on glass nail files after trying these. When you rub them on your nails, it almost doesn’t feel like they’re doing anything – but they leave your nails feeling so smooth!

And they are great for using on the girls because they aren’t so rough if they accidentally graze the skin. Zoë keeps begging me for her own!

If you haven’t tried using a glass nail file yet, you need to! You can buy a glass nail file from Design Glassware.

I heard about glass nail files years ago, believe it or not. And they do an amazing job with your nails. I had forgotten about them until now. Thanks for the reminder.

I am addicted to filing my nails. I am interested in these files, but wonder if you go through them faster or the same. So they last he same, do they cost the same. I will have to check this out, thanks for the review!
