My family loves being outdoors. We live up in the mountains – we should! We have so many opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors up here – between snowboarding during the winter and relaxing by the lake or hiking the trails during the summer.
And while my first choice for sun protection is barrier protection, sometimes we need sunscreen. I have been testing out some natural sunscreens lately, and one of the brands we received is Beyond Coastal.
We received a sample pack of their sunscreens to review. It included both mineral based sunscreens and Avobenzone based ones.
My husband tried out the Natural Clear Sunscreen while he was working outside, and it worked well. We haven’t tried any of the products with Avobenzone in them, and I’m not sure that we will since I try to avoid synthetic ingredients.

We love canoeing and exploring the river. We pull off to the banks in certain areas and find large ropes to swing off of to jump into the river and cool off with.
