I love introducing new crafts and activities to my girls, but budget is always a factor. So I was excited to learn that Manhattan Toy launched the Imagine I Can series of 28 arts & crafts, do-it-yourself, role-play and puppet kits plus exciting games.
These kits were recently featured on The View and touted by Parenting magazine as one of the best toys of Toy Fair. Each kit is ideal for family fun, birthday gifts or individual play on any day. With themes like knitting, pet rocks, castles, caterpillars and fairies, there’s something for every child. And, they only cost $5 to $20 each, so there’s something for every budget.
We got to test out 3 of the new kits, and I can tell you, the girls had a blast with each one!
The first kit we opened was the Castle Climb game. The pieces are made of wood and nicely painted.
It’s a simple game that even Kaylee, at 3-years old, could quickly pick up and have fun with. In fact, Kaylee won our first round!
Next, the girls created their own Pet Rocks. This was a really fun kit that allowed Zoë and Kaylee to express their creativity. They were so proud of their creations!
And finally, we made sticker clings. I followed the instructions to make the outlines. After the outlines were dried, Zoë and Kaylee used the paint to fill in their sticker clings.
I realize that I took a picture of these from the wrong side of the window, but it will give you a good idea. If your kids don’t use as much paint as Kaylee did, they could make quite a few sticker clings with this kit.
I was happy with all three kits, and would recommend any of the Imagine I can Art & Craft kits for a gift for your child or a child you love!
