raw-mascaraI have been searching for a good natural mascara for quite some time. Every time I try a new mascara, I usually end up disappointed because either the mascara runs or it just doesn’t apply well. I have also found that some of them really irritate my eyes.

I’d seen the Earthlab Costmetics Raw Mascara online and was curious about it, so I was thrilled to stumble upon their booth at Expo West this year. The kindly gave me a tube of mascara to take home with me and try.

While I don’t wear makeup every day, I do like to have the option some days. I have used this mascara several times now and I have been very pleased with it! It applies nicely, has good staying power and doesn’t run or clump.

The ingredients are also pretty good for mascara. In my personal experience, I have found that none of the 100% natural ones work well and have come to terms that “better” is the best I’ll get with mascara for now if I want one that actually performs.

Earthlab Cosmetics Raw Mascara Ingredients:

Water/Aqua, Natural Beeswax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Lecithin, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Celluloses, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Jojoba (Simmondsia Chinensis) Oil, Tocopherol, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Silica, Mica, Iron Oxides

I just read the disclaimer on the Earthlab Cosmetics website that it’s only good for 3 months after opening, so I better start wearing it more!

If you’ve been on the search for a good, natural mascara, give Earthlab Cosmetics Raw Mascara a shot and let me know what you think! It is available for purchase in their online store.

That ingredient list is not too shabby for one that works.

I can’t imagine getting through the tube in three months. My mascara is usually all dried out and old before I am half way tgrough it. Lol

No raccoon eyes? Every natural mascara that I’ve tried has given me raccoon eyes!

Same here Holly! That’s why I was shocked that I didn’t get them.

Pricey, but worth it then! I’ll put it on my wish list :)

I like the description of the product and I am impressed with its result. But from my point of view you should prefer natural mascara and always try to prefer natural products.
