Discounted Amazon Prime for Low Income Families

This post about low income families getting a discount on Amazon Prime was sponsored by Amazon. All opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Are you a low income family who'd love to have an Amazon Prime Membership? Learn about the new discount Amazon is offering on Prime for low income families.

I place at least one order with Amazon every week and I love seeing my order show up on my porch 2 days later. It’s so much more convenient than having to drive down the mountain and battle the crowds!

And today, if you live in a more populated area, you can get your packages delivered even faster. Groceries too!

In addition to the free shipping benefits, we use the Amazon Prime video service all the time. There are plenty of family friendly shows to watch and some great documentaries too.

That’s on top of the movie selection.. It’s nice not to have to leave the house to rent a movie since we have what we need here already.

We also have an Echo Show device in our kitchen that’s linked up with our Prime account. I love getting notified when our packages are on the way.

Amazon Prime has saved me so much time and money over the years. However, I have talked to many moms who’ve said they simply can’t afford to pay for an Amazon Prime membership.

Fortunately, Amazon offers a discounted rate for Prime Membership to certain low-income families on government assistance.

Instead of paying the normal price, they will be able to access the service for $5.99 per month, with the ability to cancel anytime.

You need to have a valid Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) or Medicaid card in order to qualify for the discounted membership rate. If you qualify, you get the full benefits of an Amazon Prime Membership.

If you’d rather not get a Prime membership, iHerb offers many of the same products we order from Amazon and they ship free with orders over $20.
