I recently got a new phone. I’d had my Samsung Galaxy S3 for a few years now and I finally dropped it and shattered the screen. For some reason I thought it was a good idea to remove the case. Not so much.
I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S6. You bet the first thing I did was go out and buy the best OtterBox case I could find. Of course I came across the new OtterBox uniVERSE Case System after I got my case or I totally would have picked this one up! Well, if I had a iPhone 6/6s or iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus that is.
Do you have one of those phones? If you do, then you need to check out the uniVERSE Case – it’s seriously cool. With just one case, you can expand your phone’s features with swappable modules.
Unlike the normal Otterbox cases, the uniVERSE case has a slotted rail under its removable accent plate. You can securely attach modules to this rail without removing the case. Current modules include things like camera lenses, card readers, batteries, speakers and more. So many possibilities with just one case.
The uniVERSE case still protects your phone like the traditional Otterbox cases too with the OtterBox Certified Drop+ Protection. It features a raised, beveled edge to help protect the touchscreen too.
It’s not a bulky case either. It has a thin profile that follows your phone’s precision lines. This sleek design allows it to slip easily in and out of your pocket and/or purse.
They’re currently carrying these OtterBox uniVERSE Case System modules:
- Square contactless & chip reader (accept credit cards on the go while your phone stays protected)
- Olloclip (4-in-1 lens kit)
- Polar Pro (power pack battery module)
- Seek Thermal (thermal camera)
- Steelie (vent mount for your car)
- Sandisk (flash drive)
I think I’d have to start with the Olloclip and the Polar Pro. I love finding ways to take better pictures for Instagram and I swear my phone drains power so fast! That’s no fun when we’re traveling and charging isn’t convenient. I think both of those modules would greatly improve my phone experience!
