I am so pleased to see so many wonderful natural sunscreens coming on the market. While we try not be put ourselves in many situations where we need to wear sunscreen, sometimes we’re out in the sun for many hours and it’s a necessity.

I recently had the opportunity to try the All Terrain AquaSport SPF 30 Sunscreen. This natural sunscreen was rated the top sunscreen in the June 2012 Consumer Report Sunscreen report. All Terrain’s other sunscreens scored high in the June Sunscreen report issued by the Environmental Working Group, which looks for products that are not harmful to children or the environment.

AquaSport SPF 30 is oxybenzone-free and has full-spectrum protection from UVA (skin cancer) and UVB (sunburn) rays. With non-nano particle and un-coated zinc oxide, it is natural, non-whitening, non-greasy and fragrance free. It is water and sweat resistant and is proven to be effective after 80 minutes in water.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient: Non-Nano, Un-coated Zinc Oxide: 16.0%
Inactive Ingredients: Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Gel, Bladderwrack (Fucus Vesiculosus) Extract, Caprylic/ capric triglycerides, Caprylyl Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cucumber (Cucumis Sativus) Extract, d-alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Dehydroxanthan Gum, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate, Grapefruit (Citrus Grandis) Seed Extract, Jojoba Oil, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Methylcellulose, Purified Water, Sea Kelp (Macrocystis Pyrifera) Extract, Sunflower (Helianthus Annuus) Oil.

My Experience

I’ve had experiences with natural sunscreens in the past that weren’t great. They left my skin completely white and greasy, which made me feel gross. I didn’t have any of those problems with the AquaSport Sunscreen!

It also worked very well. All 4 of us used it on the 4th of July when we were out in the sun a lot, and none of us got sunburned. I was happy to know that it worked very well in addition to feeling nice on my skin. It’s definitely one brand of sunscreen that’s welcome in my home!

Buy It

You can purchase All Terrain AquaSport SPF 30 Sunscreen on the company’s website or on Amazon.com (I didn’t have any of the problems that reviewers on Amazon shared).
