MightyNest_LogoIt seems like just yesterday, we were bringing Zoë home from the hospital as new parents. Now we’re about to send her off to Kindergarten in only 2 weeks!

I never realized how much gear we’d need to get her ready for school. Fortunately, Mighty Nest came to our rescue and hooked us up with some really great, eco-friendly gear for Zoë’s first year of school!

They have such a great selection of back to school items that it was really hard for Zoë to pick out what she wanted. Here’s what she settled on.

Zoë needed a backpack for school, and she saw this one and loved the pattern! It’s a really big backpack though, so be aware. Somehow I missed that it’s for ages 7+ – we probably should have gone with the Big Dots Aqua Sidekick Backpack, which is smaller – but it’s super cute and will get years of use in our home. I really like that it has the pouch for her water bottle on the side since she always remembers to bring her a reusable water bottle with her everywhere we go. It also has plenty of storage pockets – great for school!

Wildkin Big Dots Munch N Lunch Bag

Of course her lunch bag has to match her backpack! This lunch bag will be perfect for packing her lunch each day for school. It’s a good size. I was worried it would be small, but it’s perfect for her.

Thermos 16 oz Funtainer Bottle

This is a super cool reusable water bottle. I love the button you press to pop open the top to get to the straw. Zoë has wanted a water bottle that holds more than the bottle she had before, so she was really excited about this water bottle. And, since it’s insulated, it keeps beverages cold for up to 12 hours.

Zoë is really excited about this item. She wants to take chili with her for lunch this winter in it! She is so cute. It’s supposed to keep food cold for 7 hours or hot for 5 hours, which is perfect since her Kindergarten class is only 4 hours long.

If you’re still looking for safe back to school gear for your child, go check out Mighty Nest now.
