I like going for walks along the lake. It’s a time of peace, quiet and reflection for me. There’s something so special about being out in nature with no one but myself.
Oftentimes, I like to walk and listen to the sounds of the water, wind, trees, plants and animals. Other times, I like to listen to music while I walk. My husband got me into using Pandora for music and I quite like it. I created a Taylor Swift station for the girls and, well, I’d be lying if I said I never listened to it when I’m alone…
However, what I don’t like is wires that get all twisted up when I’m trying to walk or work out. It’s definitely a distraction from the peace I’m trying to enjoy. The last thing I want to be dealing with when I’m out in nature is trying to untangle cords. I recently got some brand new wireless VerveRider+ headphones from Motorola and they’re pretty neat!
They use Bluetooth technology, so there’s no need to deal with tangly cords. I simply had to pair my phone with the VerveRider+ wireless headphones and I was all set to listen to Pandora on my walks!
The sound is great too – you can create customized sound profiles. The VerveRider+ wireless headphones have built-in aptX® technology that delivers powerful HD sound. Great for having upbeat music when working out!
I was also pleasantly surprised that they stay in place while jogging. I was really worried about the collar design bumping up and down while jogging, but it doesn’t. I hardly notice that it’s there.
I also love that I can answer phone calls through my VerveRider+ wireless headphones. That makes my life so much easier. I can be sitting by the lake and be on a conference call at the same time. Life truly can’t get much better than that!
Speaking of sitting by the lake, I’m pretty stoked that the VerveRider+ wireless headphones are made with IP57 water and sweat proof protection. This means that I can wear them even if we have rain in the forecast! I love walking when it’s sprinkling outside, so that is a huge added bonus for me. And I know women don’t sweat – we perspire, right? – but I love that added protection from perspiration too.
The VerveRider+ wireless headphones are also compatible with both Google and Siri so you can do a lot of your regular things using these awesome headphones.
The battery life is great too. You can listen to music for up to 12 hours when connected to your phone, tablet or computer. Perfect for tuning out the noise on days when I work at the coffee shop!
Misplace your headphones? No problem? You can find the last location your headphones were connected on a map with Hubble Connect for VerveLife. Hubble Connect lets you locate where your device was last synced so that it’s never lost. How cool is that?
If you like the idea of the VerveRider+ wireless headphones, but prefer something a bit different, there are other VerveLife options available too. If you like the more traditional earbud style without the collar, then you might like the VerveLoop+ option. The battery life is a bit shorter, but it still has most of the same features as the VerveRider+ option.
If you want something with absolutely no wires, then check out the VerveOnes+. Wholly moly, these earbuds are cool – look mom, no wires! You’ll pay significantly more for these babies, but if you are super active and love your music, the VerveOnes+ earbuds are a super cool option. And yes, you can take calls on these babies too!
Any way you go, if you lead a busy, active lifestyle like I do, then you need headphones that pull multi-duty and can stand up to the conditions you’re faced with. The VerveLife line offers something for all of us at different price ranges too.
