pinkblush-logoMaybe the old wives’ tale about carrying boys low and girls high is true – at least, it has been for me! What I’m learning as I carry my very first baby girl this time around is that carrying high is uncomfortable. It’s really hard for me to breathe most of the time and many of my maternity clothes are just not as comfortable as they were the first two times around.

So of course I jumped at the chance to try on some comfy new clothes – PinkBlush Maternity  sent me the Black & Grey Striped 3/4 Sleeve Maternity Shirt – and it’s my new favorite top, without a doubt.

It looks like they are not currently carrying the black and grey version, but they do have the same style in Mocha-Taupe which also looks super cute and comfy!

The material of this shirt is crazy-soft – which I love. I’ve had it for a couple of months and it’s stood up well to washing (and I’ve worn it a lot!) I actually didn’t notice at first that it’s meant to be hand-washed – whoops. I washed it in the machine a couple of times and it’s fortunately survived. (Not recommended – just saying!) I’m glad I did notice that it’s supposed to be washed by hand, because I’d love to have it for a long time!

The shirt is also quite thin, which I love because I’ve been able to wear it on cooler days this summer. It’ll be fabulous for layering in fall and winter – I am pretty much always hot, even when I’m not pregnant, so that’s a big deal to me.

The fit is super-flattering. A lot of maternity shirts are definitely not. This one actually makes my bump look cute! I feel like it will be a great top during that post-baby transition period, too.

I’m really happy with my experience with PinkBlush Maternity – they’ll be my first stop whenever it comes time to add to my maternity wardrobe. Check them out if you’re looking for comfy, cute clothes for yourself or your favorite mama-to-be.

I love this site! I love that they have active wear too. I am going to do pregnancy #2 WAY different than #1. I would choose the Navy Beige Stripe Maternity Maxi Dress. Super cute!
