I am always on the search for the best natural products on the market, and skincare and cosmetics are of particular concern for me – especially after having melanoma. I am extremely careful about what products I use on me and my family, and tend to spend a lot more time reading and understanding the product ingredients than the average person.
However, a lot of all natural skincare and cosmetic products have let me down in the performance area in the past. So, I am always searching for natural products that have both pure ingredients and proven performance. I was introduced to suki Skincare through alex+von several months back, and I was excited to give it a try to see if it lived up to my expectations.
About suki Skincare
suki is the first and only synthetic-free skincare solution that integrates advanced technology with botanical actives. suki was founded with the aim to develop a completely new way of formulating skin care – immersing high potency natural cosmeceuticals in synthetic-free bases – and demonstrating results through consumer clinical trials. Each product contains potent cosmeceutical actives that solve a multitude of needs from basic skin types like dry and oily to stubborn issues like cystic acne, rosacea, signs of aging and eczema.
Basically, suki offers two lines – a Nourishing line and a Balancing line. The Nourishing line addresses concerns like dry skin and aging, whereas the Balancing line addresses skincare concerns like acne, excess oil, irritation and inflammation.
One of the things I think is super cool about suki Kramer is that she formulated her skincare line in her kitchen after not being able to find a solution to her own skincare challenges. Even today, she is still deeply involved in the product development process. And, what’s more, all of the suki products are handcrafted in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. I love supporting companies that go to that length!
My Experience with suki Skincare
I have always had very dry skin, and since moving to the mountains, my skin has gotten even drier thanks to the low humidity level, so I needed something that could address that concern. The suki Nourishing line sounded like it would be a great option for me, so I started using it several months ago, and have noticed a huge difference in my skin.
My skin is no longer dry and I can see the fine lines around my eyes starting to diminish. I have experimented with pretty much every product suki offers (in both the Nourishing and Balancing lines), and have found a routine that works well for me.
In the Morning:
- Creamy Foaming Cleanser alternated every other day with the Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser (LOVE this product)
- Balancing Toner
- Eye Lift Cellular Renewal Cream
- Intensive Nourishing Cream
In the Evening:
A little goes a really long way with the suki products, so I still haven’t gone through a full bottle of any of the products.
I also use the suki Shampoo/Conditioner and I just ordered the Intensive Nourishing Masque to try out as well. With Winter coming up fast (we’re supposed to get our first snow this week!), I am hoping it’ll help ward off some of the extreme dry skin conditions I experience during this time of year.
Trying out suki Skincare
One of the best ways to give suki Skincare a try is to purchase one of their Complete Care Kits (available on the alex+von website). The kits are very affordable, ranging from $26.95 to $29.95 each, and contain a 1-2 month supply of product.
There are 4 different kits, depending upon your skin type:
- Complete Care For Youthful Skin
- Complete Care For Clear Skin
- Complete Care For Even Skin Tone
- Complete Care For Calm Skin
You can purchase suki Complete Care Kits through alex+von, or you just might win one! To enter this giveaway, please complete the Rafflecopter form below!
