Living in a mountain cabin, our home has a very particular style. Our walls are wood paneling and everything has a very rustic feel to it – you feel like you’re in the mountains when you’re in our house.

However, if you have young kids, you’ll understand that they love color – lots of pretty colors. My girls are no different. Zoë loves purple and Kaylee loves pink.

They have weeDECOR wall decals all over the walls in their room. I gave them all of my old samples so their walls are covered in lots of colorful animal decals as well as two large trees.

However, the only light in their room right now is a plain old wall fixture – not very fun for little girls…

I have been trying to think of more ways to brighten up their room and make it more fun for them. Lamps Plus just came out with a new line of Color+Plus hand-crafted glass lamps and they have so many pretty colors – including pink and purple!

Pantone matched lamps and shades

I know the girls would love having bright, fun lamps like these in their room! I really like that you can mix and match the lamps with the shades to get just the right feel for your room!

If you’re looking for a fun way to add a splash of color to your child’s room – or any room in your home – check out the new Color+Plus line from Lamps Plus!
