I was over at Momotics over the weekend, one of the many blogs I enjoy reading when I have time, and I came across her post about 101 in 1001 and the Day Zero project. I had never heard of this before, and I was totally inspired by it.
Basically, the purpose of Day Zero is to make a list of 101 easily attainable goals that you can accomplish in 1001 days, or about 2.75 years. I’ve been feeling like I’m in a little bit of a rut lately, so I thought this would be a great “project” for me.
I have always been a list maker… there’s just something about being able to cross something off my list that makes me feel good inside… so I knew instantly that this would be something that could help me put some short-term personal goals in order.
This project isn’t meant to be a bucket list, that’s something totally different. The way I see it is, the Day Zero project is a way to feel good about making small accomplishments in my life. Sounds great to me!
It took me several hours to sit down and write this list. It was a lot more challenging than I thought it would be, but I feel a sense of accomplishment already. Now only I can keep that going until May 19, 2013 (that’s the date calculated for me by the Day Zero site).
To keep myself accountable, I plan to write an update on my progress every 3 months, or whenever I make a significant amount of progress.
So, without further ado, here’s my list:

hi new follower. i will have to consider doing this. i think i saw it on another blog too. http://dailydoseoffitness.blogspot.com (2 blogs) on twitter at BellOrelBaby
Aww thanks for including a shout out in your post!
I love the Day Zero project, and it has totally inspired me to do things I normally wouldn’t do in my day to day life. I am glad that you joined up! I will be looking forward to your updates!
Came across your blog when looking for blogs with the Day Zero project mentioned. I like your list.
I’ve decided to keep my list private, well until I finish something that is. Then I’m going to blog each finished item on my blog (that’s actually one of my 101 things).
It’s a really cool project and I look forward to it. I just hope I can finish everything!
Good luck with yours!
