Music is an essential part of our daily life. Not only does music help enhance sensory perception, auditory skills and cognitive development, but it’s a fun family activity. Brian has been playing the guitar for more than 15 years and the girls absolutely love to hear him play his guitar and sing (so do I of course).

So, when Franklin Goose offered to send us a PlanToys Big Drum  to review, we were overjoyed. The PlanToys Big Drum is a quality-made drum, and the sound is excellent—much better than the lower quality plastic drum we had. That’s because the PlanToys Big Drum is made with natural rubber latex, so it sounds more like a “real” drum than most toy drums.

Both Zoë and Kaylee love playing with it. The drumsticks are toddler sized, which is great because they’re easy for either of them to handle (the girls love playing with Brian’s adult sized drum sticks so it’s nice to have some that are their size).
