Happy Mothering had a wonderful year in 2017 – thanks to you! See what your favorite posts of 2017 were – and give me suggestions for what you want to see more of in 2018!
At the end of every year, I like to write a little recap about what happened here on Happy Mothering. It allows me to look back at everything I’ve done over the year.
More importantly, though, it lets me reflect on what you want to see more of. By taking a look at what you looked at most, I can understand more about what I want to bring you in the New Year.
You can check out past years recaps:
Even though I started writing these recaps at the end of 2012 (the year I stopped being a hobby blogger and started being a professional blogger), Happy Mothering has been around since 2009! That’s a lot of content.
Happy Mothering has grown so much over the years, and I want to thank you for that. We had our first quarter million pageviews month, and I’m excited to keep watching new people discover this website.
This year, there were definitely some new comers to the list, and some old favorites that dropped down the list. I love watching your interests grow and evolve over time.
Without further ado, here are the top 10 posts on Happy Mothering for 2017:

I’ve had a lot of bloggers ask where that traffic comes from. I have about an equal number of visitors arrive here from Search Engines and Social Media. Then of course some people visit from other sites as well.
This year, I want to do something new and thank 10 other blogs that consistently send traffic to my recipes and tutorials. Without them, some of you may not have discovered Happy Mothering.
2017 was a wonderful year of growth for me personally and in business. I’m excited to see what 2018 will bring!
