SEED is a line of powerful seed-based body care that feels great when you are using it, but also allows you to feel good after that! Know that our products provide the natural benefits of seeds – grape seed oil, for example, is a light, emollient oil, which feels great, and is rich in Vitamin E, antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and phytosterols – all great for healthy, beautiful skin. And, our products are designed for sustainability. 100% Natural, made in the USA and using recyclable and/or biodegradable packaging.
Replacing all of my skin care products with natural alternatives has been more of a challenge than I anticipated. I’ve tried and been disappointed with more brands than I can count. But that hasn’t stopped my search.
I recently read about SEED Body Care, a company that offers all-natural skin care products enriched with grape seed oil. I hadn’t seen grape seed oil used as a key ingredient before, so I was really interested in trying it out. After all, we like to use grape seed oil to cook with, and I know grapes/wine have some great nutritional benefits.
So, I contacted SEED to see if they could send me one of their products to test. I received a tube of the new SEED Healthy Hand Cream in Simply Fragrance Free (it also comes in Invigorating Citrus Essential Oil Scent).
When you first put it on, it feels like it’s going to be one of those greasy creams. Then before you can finish that thought, it starts to completely absorb into your skin, leaving it soft and moisturized. All I can say is that I love SEED Healthy Hand Cream!
It takes a lot to keep our skin moisturized with how dry it is in the mountains, but SEED Healthy Hand Cream does the job, and does it very well. We have several types of lotion sitting out right now and the SEED Healthy Hand Cream is the one both Brian and I grab first—it’s the only one that gets the job done.
In case you’re curious about the ingredients in the fragrance free version:
Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Stearic Acid, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Glycerin, Gluconolactone (and) Sodium Benzoate, Cetyl Alcohol, Tocopherol, Tapioca Starch, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract.
“Hey peeps… Brian here. I've never high-jacked one of Chrystal's posts until now. I don't think she expressed enough how much we both love this lotion. For the record, this lotion is the shizzznittt…
I've always had dry skin, but since we moved up here (7,000 feet) in the mountains with 20% humidity, my skin has been horribly dry and cracked… my knuckles have been bleeding. In addition, I also have a lot of tattoos that I constantly put lotion on.
I've used Udder Cream since I was a kid. My Uncle Bob always had it around the barn and swore by it. I laughed out loud the 1st time I saw it in stores being sold for people, but I was happy because my buddies stopped making fun of me for using it…
Udder Cream, that glorious chemical concoction, has been the only thing has ever worked on keeping hands from drying out and cracking… That is until we got this SEED lotion for review. Now, I don't ever see myself using anything but this SEED lotion…”
