Do you love a good cup of hot tea? Dunkin’ Donuts recently introduced a yummy line of premium hot teas. Read about my experience and partnership with them.
As a work at home mom, I have very little time for myself. If I’m not on my computer working, I’m in the kitchen developing recipes to share with you. Or I’m washing dishes, doing laundry, cooking dinner or spending time with my family.
And did I mention that my daughters are homeschooled – mostly by my husband. So we are all home together all the time. For the most part, it’s wonderful to have the opportunity to spend so much time together. On the other hand, there is very little “me” time when you are together so much.
It’s a trade-off for sure. I’m very grateful for the opportunity my family has, but it means that I have to steal moments of “me” time whenever I can.
One of the ways I do that is to brew myself a hot cup of tea and sit in silence when my husband and daughters are out snowboarding. It’s amazing how wonderful sitting in silence and sipping a warming cup of tea can feel.
If it’s before noon, I typically reach for green tea. If it’s after noon, I typically opt for a cup of herbal tea.
I recently discovered that Dunkin’ Donuts has a line of premium hot teas that they just introduced. My daughters asked for an apple fritter and some donut holes when I was out running errands.
So, as a special treat to celebrate National Hot Tea Month this month, I picked those up for them along with a box of Hibiscus Kiss™ Herbal Infusion tea for the next time I could steal a few moments for myself.
It’s one of the five flavors offered at Dunkin’ Donuts. I almost grabbed a box of green tea too. It was the only one left – it must be popular!
The other flavors of premium teas include:
- Bold Breakfast Black™ Tea
- Harmony Leaf Green™ Tea
- Chamomile Fields™ Herbal Infusion
- Cool Mint Herbal Infusion
I got to brew the Hibiscus Kiss™ Herbal Infusion a few days later while the rest of the family was out snowboarding. It is a caffeine-free herbal infusion that is vibrant and fruity.
It was delicious and quite enjoyable! Later I let my husband try it, and even he liked it. He only likes really fruity teas, and this one was a huge hit with him.
The ingredients are simple too, which I love. The ingredients include: Hibiscus, Rosehips, Chicory, Lemongrass, Natural Flavors and Licorice Root. It’s a lovely combination.
The box, which retails for $6.99, includes 15 individually-wrapped pyramid tea sachets. They’re really pretty!
If you prefer not to brew your tea at home, you can order up a cup at Dunkin’ Donuts too. The teas are available alongside Dunkin’ Donuts’ full menu, including breakfast items, all day.
They offer a lot of different food and beverage choices, including hot and iced coffee, espresso beverages, frozen beverages, hot tea and iced tea, as well as a range of sandwiches and baked goods.
If you’re busy like me, then you’ll appreciate the range of items they have available all day long. And I love that I can bring the yummy tea flavors home to brew when I am relaxing and taking a moment for myself.
Next time you’re looking for a good cup of tea, pop into Dunkin’ Donuts and try their new line of premium teas.
