This post was written by me as a member of the Netflix Stream team, for which I receive a complimentary Netflix subscription.
As much as I love watching entertaining shows and movies (and I do!), I also love a good documentary. I love how I can be entertained and learn something new at the same time.
I also love exposing our children to documentaries so they aren’t watching the same cartoons over and over again. Watching documentaries together is a great family activity.
Netflix makes discovering new documentaries so easy! There are always great documentaries that I’ve been wanting to watch and ones that I have never heard of.
I really love that they have such a great selection of food documentaries. If you haven’t watched the ones I’ve listed below, make sure to watch them while they’re available for streaming on Netflix. GMO OMG is a really great introduction to GMOs if you haven’t had time to learn about them yet.
Here is a list of some of the best documentaries streaming on Netflix right now.
