I first got interested in meditation when I was a teenager reading Sassy magazine, which I don’t believe is around anymore. The concept really fascinated me, and I would do my own little version of meditation in the living room chair before doing my homework each day. It was really refreshing.

It’s designed mainly for people that have never had a successful meditation practice as it walks you through every step of the process.
This app is essentially like having your very own personal meditation coach in the palm of your hand on your favorite device. No matter how busy you are, you can find 10-15 minutes per day to sit down with OMG. I Can Meditate! and your phone or tablet to practice meditation.
There are so many different meditations you can try! You can start with the OMG Daily Meditations to get acquainted with meditation.
Then once you are comfortable and have a rhythm down, you can choose meditations based upon your mood or areas of life you want to focus on that day.
There are even meditations for kids! What a great way to teach kids at a young age that meditation is important.
I have been using it for a couple of weeks and I’m really enjoying it. I have a lot of trouble quieting my mind, and I like that I can sit down anywhere with my iPad and get a short meditation in to help calm my mind and my mood. The narrator’s voice is very soothing, and I find that helps me relax. I’m looking forward to continuing this practice in my life.
