Do you have friends or family you want to reconnect with? Try a paint and sip class at Pinot’s Palette. It’s a great chance to unplug and have fun!
In today’s world it can be really hard to disconnect from our ever-present technology and look someone in the eye long enough to really connect with them. To talk about what is going on in each others lives in person rather than through a social media status.
Think of someone in your life who you really need to reconnect with but haven’t taken the time to lately. Is it your Mom? Spouse? Best Friend? Sister in Law? Your grown child? It’s time to MAKE time for some special one on one bonding and I have just the place for you to do it – Pinot’s Palette.
Pinot’s Palette is a sip and paint studio where you are led by an instructor to paint a canvas and enjoy an adult beverage like wine or beer- there are various times and many options to choose from so you are sure to find one that works out with your schedule!
In an effort to shut out distractions and tune into an important relationship with a good friend we scheduled a class at Pinot’s Palette and arranged for babysitters. By grabbing a paintbrush and creating a work of art together (without our phones) we were able to relax, laugh, and catch up.
I highly recommend committing to leaving your phone at home or at least in your purse during your paint and sip. Pinot’s Palette has a bank of cubbies right in your eye line for keeping personal items safe and paint free.
Everything was simple and easy regarding our painting session, from setting it up and paying online right on through to the finished product. Even if you don’t consider yourself an artist you will be tickled to find out how nicely your artwork turns out with easy steps from your instructor.
Curious about how it works when you visit Pinot’s Palette? Take a peek at our first experience here below!
We walked in to stations ready to go with blank canvasses on an easel, paints, paint brushes, water, and a rag. ‘
They do all the setup and the cleanup, bonus! Us busy moms already have enough to do and worry about, this is a well-deserved break.
They also had…
Aprons ready to protect your cute “going out” clothes.
A great selection of wine and beer to sip on while you paint.
An instructor with the finished product and a blank canvas to paint as they give you the step by step lowdown.
Our class was 2 hours long and got several breaks throughout the class to stretch and walk around while some of the paint dried.
Instructions were simple and we were amazed as we watched some simple brushstrokes actually turn into something!
Not only did we have a great time encouraging and sometimes laughing at each others artistic attempts but we left with memories AND a painting to hang in our homes that we will cherish.
So if you need to step away from tweets, updates and conference calls check out your local Pinot’s Palette. It’s a great choice for date night, ladies night, birthday parties, bridal showers, or as a team building work event.
