I have been trying to balance my diet with more vitamin and mineral supplements recently. One of the minerals I have really been focusing on is magnesium.
While I have been taking it topically, sometimes I want an oral supplement when I don’t’ have time to soak in a bath. I tried one liquid supplement and it was awful. It tasted so much like salt that I could barely get it down, even diluted.
I’d heard great things about the Natural Calm magnesium supplement from Natural Vitality, so I was excited to receive the Raspberry Lemon flavor to try. It is so much better than the other supplement I tried!
I can mix it with water and drink it since it has a good flavor, but I really love adding it to my kombucha. It makes it fizzy and even more flavorful.
While Natural Calm is the product that Natural Vitality is most know for, they also have several other great supplements.
Their Plant-Sourced Minerals, their newest product, is minimally processed and includes naturally occurring humic and fulvic acids, polysaccharides, lipids and other valuable nutritional cofactors. It delivers a complex of more than 70 plant-based, small-particle, bioavailable life-sustaining trace minerals in an easily digested and assimilated form. It has a green apple flavor and is super yummy added to juice or water.
I also tried their Vitality B and C complex vitamins. They are not hybrid food-based vitamins “grown” in a lab like most supplements. They are plant-based supplements Organically Grown in soil. Cool, right?
The VITALITY B Complex comes from organic guava, organic holy basil and organic lemon. For the B12, we are using the more easily absorbed and retained form, methylcobalamin (not organically grown). VITALITY C Complex comes directly from organic Indian gooseberry (amla), which is naturally higher in vitamin C than rose hips. The capsules are vegan (made from tapioca).
I have also tried the Energy28, which delivers supplemental natural energy from whole-food and natural sources. It includes golden chlorella omega, 24 organic fruits and veggies, organic maca, bioenergy ribose and rhodiola. It has a mild taste and I think it would be great in smoothies. I have noticed a slight lift in energy after drinking Energy28.
In addition to these products, Natural Vitality also offers:
There are very few supplement companies I trust since discovering that most of them contain GMOs. I am very proud to support Natural Vitality knowing they are non-GMO Project Verified and only use the best ingredients available.
