Lately, I have been trying to remember to snack more frequently throughout the day to keep my blood sugar stable. I love trying new gluten free snacks, so I was excited to receive a couple of Blue Diamond’s latest snacks to try – Thin-Shell Almonds and Baked Nut Chips in Sea Salt.
The Thin-Shell Almonds are dry roasted until the shells are delicately thin and easy to open. They come in both unsalted and hint of sea salt. While they are both great, I prefer the sea salt (and the girls did as well).
They are really fun to eat and the fact that you have to open them (they are easy to open) slows you down so you don’t eat too many too fast. Usually I buy pistachios for the girls because they keep them occupied opening them, so it’s fun that there is another nut option that has the same purpose. They’re great for little fingers.
The baked Nut Chips are also really good. I think the bag was gone within minutes of opening it! The girls were really bummed when they were gone. They asked if I would buy more next time I went shopping.
