Before I had kids, I constantly had my nose in a book. At the gym, during my lunch break, after work… pretty much anytime I had a spare moment I’d grab a book.
These days, I have very little time to read between my sweet munchkins, working and trying to keep my house from looking like a tornado hit it.
When I do read, lately it’s mostly health and nutrition books. I’ll read the occasional parenting or motivational book, but mostly I spend my time on natural health and real food nutrition since it’s my biggest passion.
Some of my favorite natural health & food books are:
I just started Hormone Heresy (I got a signed copy at Expo West), but I’m sure it’ll take me a while to get through it, but it seems interesting. I also got a signed copy of Could It Be B12 at Expo West, another book that had been on my reading list for quite some time.
There are so many books I’d love to read if only there were a few extra hours in the day. I literally have a stack of books on my nightstand that I want to read, but can never find the time. Someday I will have plenty of time to read though.
How often do you read books just for you? What’s your favorite book or book genre?
