It seems like every couple of weeks, Zoë’s favorite food suddenly becomes the food she doesn’t like. I guess perhaps it’s an experimental phase for her.
We do all of the typical healthy toddler snacks:
- Organic stoned wheat crackers and cheese
- Berries, Grapes, etc.
- Orange slices
- Bananas, either plain or dipped in oatmeal and raw honey
- Sliced carrots (no baby carrots in this house)
- String cheese
- Pecans or other nuts
- Shredded coconut
But I’m constantly trying new varieties of healthy snacks with her to keep her interested in eating healthy foods. Lately, she has 2 favorite snacks…
Sliced Granny Smith Apples and Organic Smooth Peanut Butter
Strained Plain Greek Yogurt with Organic Granola and Raw Honey
Given her patterns, I’m sure by the end of this month, she’ll no longer “like” either of these snacks and I’m starting to run out of unique ideas.
