I have been replacing all of our conventional (toxic) products with safe, natural ones over the last couple years. It has been a process, but we're getting there.
They were thin and just didn't clean very well. And instead of searching for another natural alternative, I went the easy route and started using the Huggies wipes you can buy in bulk from Costco or Amazon.
What I love about the Huggies wipes is that they're thick, durable and they work well. What I hate about them is that they have fragrance and parabens in them. I've decided it is time for them to go.
I was recently sent some samples of Bum Boosa Bamboo Baby Wipes to try out. I was very hopeful that I'd fall in love with them.
They're made from bamboo, a renewable resource. And the ingredients are pretty good. They do have some preservatives in them, but they're scented with essential oils and they don't contain alcohol, sodium lauryl sulfate or parabens.
Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with the quality. They're very thin and I feel like they'll tear if I'm anything more than extra gentle with them. And they just didn't clean very well at all.
So, now I'm on the search for the best all natural baby wipes out there. Before I start spending money purchasing more brands to try, I'd love to get some feedback from other moms out there who are into natural living.
