Potty training Zoë has been a true roller coaster ride. One day I think we’re there, and the next we regress. So, I have been hesitant to post positive potty training news until I felt confident we were truly successful this time.
Zoë is finally potty trained! Woo-hoo!
I just decided one day that I knew she was physically and mentally capable of being taken out of Pull-Ups and being put into panties full time. So I went to the store, got her some new “big girl panties” and told her that she was going to wear them from now on.
At first she was excited. She did good for a day. Then she had a few “accidents.” I knew she was just testing me to see what I’d do, so I told her it was okay, she was still going to wear her big girl panties. She didn’t need Pull-Ups anymore.
She gave me a little bit of an attitude and told me she was a baby and needed diapers, but I didn’t give in.
After testing me by having her “accidents” for about 3 days, she is now using the potty every time, and staying dry. It is so nice to have her out of Pull-Ups!
One down. One to go.
