Music is a huge part of the culture in our home. My husband has been playing the guitar since he was 15 and we have a huge plethora of musical instruments and microphones in our home.
My only experience with music is playing the flute for 4 years growing up, and of course listening to music.
If there's one band I believe is universally loved, it's the Beatles. I grew up listening to the Beatles with my parents and with some of my best friends. Oddly enough, I can sing along with most of their songs.
So when I saw that Netflix came out with a new original show based on the music of the Beatles – the Beat Bugs – I was excited to check it out with my girls. I was not disappointed either. It's so cute!
I was hooked from the first episode. It starts out with the Beat Bugs singing, “All You Need is Love.” And throughout the show, various Beatles songs are interspersed with the story. It's really quite a clever show!
If you enjoy the Beatles and are looking for a cute Netflix show or movie for your child, be sure to check out the Beat Bugs!

My toddler LOVES Little baby bum. It’s animated nursery rhymes/classic kids songs. It’s all we ever watch. They have a learning songs category also that focus more on colors/numbers.
