2 Copies of the GMO OMG DVD
The winner of this giveaway will receive 2 Blue-ray Dvds of GMO OMG. Who controls the future of your food? GMO OMG explores the systematic cor- porate takeover and potential loss of humanity’s most precious and ancient inheritance: seeds. Director Jeremy Seifert investigates how loss of seed diversity and corresponding laboratory assisted genetic alteration of food affects his young children, the health of our planet, and freedom of choice everywhere. GMO OMG follows one family’s struggle to live and eat without participating in an unhealthy, unjust, and destructive food system. In GMO OMG, the encroaching darkness of unknown health and environmental risks, chemical toxins, and food monopoly meets with the light of a growing global movement to take back what we have lost. Has the global food system been irrevocably hijacked? Is there still time to reclaim its purity, protect biodiversity and save ourselves?

sandra says
I am concerned because the natural resources needed to generate our food sources are dwindling
Anne Perry says
I am concerned with gmo’s, artificial colors and flavors, pesticides, sugar. I am scared to feed my children.
Kelly says
I am most scared by the genetic modification of the food supply. I think we are playing with fire. The consequence to such actions are not understood and I fear we will not know the true extent until it is too late. I only eat non-GMO food, but due to cross contamination I am sure this will be harder as GMO contamination continues.
Sandra Watts says
I’m concerned with all the unnatural things that go into our food today and what it is doing to our children.
wen budro says
I’m concerned about our food supply because we have no idea what the long term effects of GMOs, pesticides, and chemicals will be….except that they won’t be safe or healthy. We’re being poisoned for profit.
jessica z says
I am concerned with all the GMOs, added colors, preservatives, artificial flavors, etc.
Jill @ Do Try This at Home says
Oh boy! It would be crazier NOT to be concerned with our food supply! It’s hardly the same stuff that was considered food when I was a child.
Rise Isom says
I am concerned about the effects of plastic, GMOs and hormones on our food supply. We are a rich farm country. Why mess with success!
Shannon says
I am concerned mostly because I feel like the entire planet is contaminated with radiation, chemicals, pollution….
Janie Prather says
Everyone should be concern of our food supply on the store shelf way to many chemicals used.
Mary Beth Elderton says
I am concerned because much of what is in our food supply is not actually food. I am concerned about GMO’s because almost all independent studies are squashed, so only Monsanto’s information is allowed, and they spend millions in the effort to hide which foods contain which organisms and what those possible effects are.
Hannah Pitts says
A lot of reasons! People are not growing food and saving seeds, too much GMO, bees dying, farmers are getting older and the younger generations are not learning about farming/taking up farming, on and on!
Kayte CookWatts says
Food is one of my greatest passions- our whole family loves to cook & eat. The fact that we have to worry about the basic staples of our diet are safe fills with with fear & sorrow.
Lana Bradstream says
I’m concerned about the amount of chemicals that are put in our food in an effort to preserve it and increase profits.
Kristi says
I am concerned about the effects of GMOs.
melikegarfield says
I’m concerned that by using so much of the “same” seed over time, the natural variety and evolution will stop and we will be stuck with a very restricted set of seeds that will not produce the redundancy and flexibility in the food system that we had in the past.
Amanda Alvarado says
I’m concerned about the chemicals and modifications being used/done to our foods. There is no telling anymore what exactly is in our foods!
Kellie says
I am concerned about our food supply because I want to be healthy and I want my family to be healthy. With all these mystery illnesses, allergies, etc. popping up that turn out to be from food we thought was safe to eat, it makes you afraid to put anything at all in your mouth.
terra j sweeps says
I am concerned for my family’s health. and the availability for our future generations.
Mary Bearden says
It just seems like farms are disappearing more and more these days. I also am concerned with the amount of pollution that keeps getting dumped into good clean waters. Which in turn not only messes with our water supply but also the fish in streams and then the seafood from the oceans.
Hannah Avery says
It’s sad that most of the food in the stores come from so far away. I am not a fan of the GMO products either. I don’t like that they have foreign DNA.
Lynn C says
Pure food is quite literally the engine that drives all human endeavors. We must not allow basic sustenance to be corrupted in the name of profit or convenience.
TiffanyD says
GMOs concern me because of the rising incidence of disease/chronic illness in our society. Our food supply is making us sick…and all for a profit.
Dandi D says
I wish people would realize the impact eating certain foods with artificial ingredients has on our health.
margaret franksduncan says
because of all the junk thay put in it.
sara wood says
I have so many concerns. One of the biggest is about livestock production and its contribution to water and air pollution.
Nancy says
I want to make sure that our children and future generations have an abundant supply of healthy food to eat.
Margot C says
I am concerned about the ubiqitous presence of GMO in food and the lack of labeling too.
KarenV. says
I am concerned about all of the non-essential things in our food supply — chemicals, dyes, GMOs, hormones. So many things are not marked. I have lupus, and I definitely feel much better when I avoid artificial ingredients of any type.
Victoria says
I am concerned because until about 5 years ago I had this idea that grocery stores sold food and anything there was safe to eat. Then I realized that a whole bunch of it wasn’t food at all. I hate the GMOs, I hate added growth hormones and I ate the preservatives, additives and outright poisons they stuff into as many products as they can. I believe that food is the best way to stay healthy and unfortunately mst people don’t realize how scary our situation is. The worst part is that so many of the big bad companies receive subsidies, which makes their food cheaper and drives the cost of “real” food up.
I saw a great meme recently which summed it up. It said, “Organic – what your grandparents called ‘food'”
Bri Sherman says
I am concerned with our food supply because the more and more I learn, the more I see we aren’t being told the whole truth. I’m ready for a change.
Katherine Riley says
I am concerned about all the chemicals that are in our food and how it is affecting our children.
Stephanie says
I am extremely concerned because of all the highly processed industrialized foods with chemicals, GMOs, and additives. It’s not REAL food anymore.
Michele Cupp says
I want my son to have the opportunity to live healthier than I did. I love non-GMO and organic options.
ethel says
I’m concerned with all the GMOs, chemicals in our food. I worry for my kids health.
Natalie Nichols says
I’m concerned for our future and the future of our children.
ashlee says
I am concerned about everything that’s being added into food that our children eat.
Nicole Carter Weasley says
I am concerned about the GMO’s. I sure hope laws will pass that will make companies have to label the food we eat with the added GMO stamp.
ellen beck says
I am really concerned about our food supply. I am concerned that produce and meats arent labeled with country oof origin, I am concerned that foods are labeled how they are grown and hw lax the word organic can truly be.
