Are you looking for fun and unusual stocking stuffer ideas this holiday season? Check out our stocking stuffer gift guide. You’ll find lots of great ideas!
When I was a kid, my stocking was always my favorite thing about Christmas morning. There was something so special about dumping it out and sorting through all of the treasure in it.
As an adult, I kind of miss the thrill of dumping out my stocking on Christmas morning. My parents always filled a stocking for each other and I thought that was pretty neat.
If you and your spouse fill stockings for each other, I’ve put together a list of unusual stocking stuff ideas that you may want to consider this Christmas!
Conscious Step Socks
Have you heard of Conscious Step Socks yet? They sell ethically made socks for leading non-profits around the world. It’s a fun way to raise awareness and funds for the work these non-profits are doing.
Did you know that India grows 80% of the world’s organic cotton? That’s why Conscious Socks grows their organic cotton and manufactures their socks in New Delhi, India, and the surrounding states.
Each pair of Conscious Steps socks are made from the highest quality (168 needle) organic cotton grown to the Global Organic Textile Standard. They’re made in fair trade conditions by well paid adult staff. No child labor is used. The socks also meet Oeko -Text Confidence in Textile standards for harmful substances.
When you purchase from Conscious Step, you can support charities that:
- Fight Hunger
- Provide Water
- Educate Kids
- Treat HIV
- Plant Trees
- Support Global Citizen
With every purchase of these socks, Socks That Plant Trees (Aztec), Trees for the Future will plant 20 trees in Kenya. They’re super comfortable too, even on my foot with a broken big toe. I have been reaching for them whenever they’re clean!

The eco-conscious woman loves a good menstrual cup. I love know that I’m not tossing disposable menstrual products into the trash each and every month. Not only are menstrual cups better for the environment, but they’re better for the budget too since you can use them for up to 10 years (depending upon the brand)!
I was recently introduced to Ruby Cup, a company that lives by the “Buy One Give One” program. I love how they have become the first and only menstrual cup brand to include a donation to a girl in need for every cup sold.
For every Ruby Cup purchased, the company donates one to a girl in need, in countries like Kenya. Along with the donated cup, the girls are given education on the female anatomy, reproductive health and Ruby Cup usage & hygiene.
Cups are only distributed in areas with clean water since it’s necessary to be able to clean the cup. Bacteria transferred by hands is one of the greatest causes of the spread of communicable diseases in developing countries, so clean water is required in all distribution areas.
Ruby Cups are made of medical grade silicone and are reusable for up to 10 years. And they’re priced more affordably than some of the other menstrual cups I’ve tried.
If you’re looking for unusual stocking stuffer ideas that give back, check out Ruby Cup.
Dessata Professional Detangling Brush
We’ve been using detangling brushes for years with our daughters. We just got a Dessata Professional Detangling Brush. The brushes were designed and manufactured in Spain.
Dessata detangles hair faster and without the pulling created by conventional brushes, resulting in significantly less breakage and healthier hair overall. That’s because it has 440 highly flexible bristles made from a specialized gel. They can gently glide through any hair type (wet or dry), without tugging or tearing.
Most detangling brushes only feature two bristle lengths. Dessata’s innovative design ups features 3 distinct bristle variations, resulting in even less tension while brushing hair. Additionally, its ergonomic, handle-free design provides optimum comfort and control.
Dessata’s detangling brushes are available in various colors, such as silver and pink, purple and hot pink, and black and gold. Prices start at just $9.99, making them a great choice as a stocking stuffer idea.
Dessata Detangling brushes can be purchased on Amazon.

Pulleez doubles as a wristlet when you’re not wearing it in your hair. You can adjust the toggle to make it fit comfortably on your wrist so it won’t cut off your circulation.
There are glam styles of Pulleez too, available in crystal, metal and acrylic. Some of the styles feature elegant charms such as boots, fish and Buddha’s. Pulleez retail for $10-20 at Amazon.com and www.pulleez.com.
I have recently fallen in love with Orgonite Necklaces. They are a beautiful way to amplify the energy of life and protect yourself from EMF radiation.
Orgonite can provide you with an increased sense of well-being, enhance your resilience to stress and assist with mental clarity.
I thought this Prosperity and Abundance Tree of Life Pendant was beautiful. It is one of my favorite stocking stuffer ideas this year!
Another great thing to help with reducing stress levels and improving sleep is topical magnesium (read more about the benefits of topical magnesium). I love this Magnesium Lotion from Ancient Minerals as a stocking stuffer idea.
It’s easy to apply and really works! I started sleeping so much better when I started using topical magnesium. And lotion is the easiest way to apply topical magnesium for the newbie because it’s smooth and absorbs quickly.
Grab a bottle of Magnesium Lotion as a stocking stuffer and be sure to pick one up for yourself too!
Color Therapy Postcard Book
The pages are made with a heavier weight cardstock rather than paper, so you can actually use them for postcards. How fun is that?
If you’re looking for fun stocking stuffer ideas that will allow the recipient to indulge in their creative side, pick up one of these Color Therapy Postcard Books!
What other unusual stocking stuffer ideas would you add to this list?
