Are you looking for a delicious shrimp recipe with Asian flair? These Chili Garlic Shrimp are delicious with a meal or as an appetizer!
Last year, I shared my delicious Chili Lime Thai Chicken Wings recipe with you. After making them one time, I had some leftover sauce, so I decided to try it on shrimp and the flavors worked perfectly!
One of the reasons I love shrimp is because it cooks so quickly! It literally cooks in less than 5-minutes, making it a wonderful choice for busy nights.
I love this recipe because it can be served with a meal. It would be great with steamed rice or rice noodles and some sauteed vegetables.
You could also serve them as an appetizer. Simply put toothpicks in each shrimp and people will gobble them up!
10 Minute Chili Garlic Shrimp Recipe
10 Minute Chili Garlic Shrimp
- Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl except the shrimp and 1 tablespoon of the sesame oil. Whisk until well combined.
- Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to a wok or large skillet and heat over medium heat.
- Add the shrimp to the pan and cook just until they start turning pink, stirring frequently, then immediately add the sauce and cook just long enough to cook the shrimp through and warm the sauce. This should only take about 3 minutes total, so work fast. You want to make sure they’re cooked through, but don’t overcook them or they’ll be rubbery.
