Thank you to Mallary Hope for sponsoring this post about her inspiring new album, “Out of My Hands.”
I’ve been listening to more music while I work lately, and I’m always interested in discovering new (to me) artists. I love listening to female artists with my daughters, but we have to be careful about the artists we choose.
I was recently introduced to the music of Mallary Hope and found it so nice and inspiring! Plus the music is clean, so I feel comfortable listening to it with my impressionable young daughters. It is a Christian album, but not all of the songs have a heavy Christian tone to them. There’s a nice balance.
One of my favorite songs on the album is “Me.” It sounds just like the pop music that my daughters listen to, but with a more uplifting message.
It’s all about being who you are no matter what, and that’s a lesson that I think many of us need. I’ve spent a lot of my life being afraid of being judged for being who I am, and I’m actively trying to shed that fear.
You can listen to the full song in Mallary Hope’s YouTube video.
Another one of the songs I like from the album is, “Looking Back at Me.” It reminds me of conversations I have with my daughters about being who they are regardless of what other kids say. It has a great message of chasing your dreams without fears. I have spent most of my life having to really fight for my dreams, so I really related. So good!
One other song I really think you should check out is, “Love More.” It’s what I’ve been preaching to everyone that will listen lately. I’m so tired of everyone fighting and being so divisive these days. Everyone wants to find a way to disagree and argue.
I just don’t understand! Life is too short, and I’m proof of that. I’d love to see everyone love more. Our world would be a much better place.
