Easy, Creamy Almond Milk Recipe!

If you like almond milk that you can buy at the store, you're going to love homemade almond milk - it's creamy and delicious!

And, there are no preservatives or additives in homemade almond milk - the ingredients are super simple too!

Ingredients & Supplies

– 4 cups water – 1 cup raw almonds – 2 tbsp maple syrup (optional) – ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional) – Pinch of sea salt – Measuring cups and spoons – Small bowl – Fine mesh strainer – High speed blender – Nut milk bag – Glass jar

How to Make Creamy Homemade Almond Milk

Soak Almonds in Water

Place almonds in enough water to cover them and soak for at least one hour, or for up to 24 hours.

Rinse Soaked Almonds

Rinse the soaked almonds under cold water in a fine mesh strainer. Discard the soaking liquid.

Add Ingredients to the Blender

Next, put the soaked almonds, filtered water, and, optionally,  maple syrup and vanilla extract with a tiny pinch of salt in a high-speed blender.

Blend the Ingredients

Place the lid on your blender and blend the ingredients on high until the pieces of almonds are very fine.
