Parboil Your Dried Navy Beans.

Put your dry navy beans into a large stockpot, then add about 3 inches water above the beans. Bring the water to a boil, then continue boiling the navy beans for 10 minutes.

 Wash, cut and prepare your veggies. Once the veggies are cut, transfer them to a large slow cooker pan with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
