1cupcorn grits
3 ½cupswater
¼teaspoonsea salt
1 ½tablespoonsbutter
½cupmilkor heavy cream
½cupcheddar cheese
Instructions
Add the grits, water and salt to the Instant Pot inner pot, and stir to combine.
Place the lid on the Instant Pot and cook on High Pressure for 10 minutes. Use a natural pressure release for 15 minutes then quick release the remaining pressure and open the lid.
Stir in the rest of the ingredients (milk, butter and cheese) until well combined, making sure you break up the clumps in the grits as you go.
Serve in a bowl for a simple meal or as a side dish.
