Spice Mix
¼cupgarlic powder
3tablespoonsdried thyme
3tablespoonsgranulated sugar
2tablespoonsdried parsley
2tablespoonssea salt
2tablespoonsdried onion flakes
2tablespoonspaprika
2tablespoonsallspice
1tablespoononion powder
1tablespooncrushed red pepper flakes
1tablespoondried jalepeno
1 ½teaspoonsfennel seeds
1teaspoonblack pepper
¾teaspoonground nutmeg
¾teaspooncinnamon powder
½teaspoonscayenne pepper
½teaspoonground ginger
¼teaspoonground turmeric
Marinade
3tablespoonsJamaican Jerk spice mix
⅓cupgluten free soy sauce
½cupraw honey
2tablespoonsketchup
Instructions
Spice Mix
Place all spices in a pint sized Mason Jar and shake and/or stir the spices until they are well combined. This will fill the jar just over halfway, so you have space to shake the spices before each use.
Marinade
Whisk all ingredients in a small mixing bowl until well combined.
Let the mixture sit for an hour in the fridge for the marinade to reach full flavor.
You can either pour it over chicken in the crockpot and then cook, or marinade your chicken in it overnight.
Notes
This spice mix won't quite fill a pint jar so that you can easily shake it up before using.
