1/3cupextra virgin olive oil
2tablespoonsraw honeylocal is best if you can find it
5dropsFrankincense essential oil
5dropslemon essential oil
5dropsHelichrysum essential oil
Start by grinding your green tea leaves (I use a mortar and pestle). I like to make them smaller so it disperses throughout the hand scrub.
Once the green tea leaves are ground, add all of the ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl and stir until everything is well combined.
Allow the mixture to sit for at least an hour before you use it so that the green tea leaves can infuse into the other ingredients.
Store your brightening hand scrub in an air-tight jar in a cool, dark place. Make sure no water gets into the jar or mold can grow.
If the oil separates from the sugar in the jar, simply remix before using. To use, massage about a tablespoon of the brightening hand scrub into your hands for about a minute. Rinse with warm water, then moisturize your hands with a good hand cream or body butter.
