If you’re a beauty junkie who loves discovering the best subscription boxes for women, check out the FabFitFun box! Get a peek inside the Fall 2019 box in this sponsored post.
I’m a huge fan of subscription boxes. I love trying out new ones and discovering ones that provide the best value for the dollar.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve heard friends talk about the FabFitFun subscription box and how amazing it was. I was excited to finally get a chance to try the service out.
If you’re not familiar with FabFitFun, it’s a subscription box that includes full-size fashion, beauty, fitness and lifestyle products. Unlike many subscription box services, FabFitFun is only available four times a year – once each season.
Best of all, you have an opportunity to customize your box each month and choose items that you think would suit you best.
Even though each box retails for $49.99, every box has a value of more than $200. It would cost you less out of pocket to buy all four seasonal boxes for a year than it would to pay retail for each item in just one of the boxes.
That sounds like a great value, but is the FabFitFun box really worth it? Would I actually use the products included in it? Those were the questions I was asking myself.
Do you want to know the answer too? Let’s take a look inside the Fall 2019 FabFitFun box together and see if it’s worth it!
FabFitFun Fall 2019 Box
Skin Care Products
This particular box was heavy on skincare products, so if you’re a beauty junkie, you may want to grab this box. The first thing I tried out was the Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks (retail $25). They were super hydrating for my tired eyes.
The box also includes Cosmedix Pure C mixing crystals (retail $54 – more than the cost of the entire box). You add them to your nightly moisturizer or serum to give your skin an extra dose of vitamin C. At my age, my skin can use all the help it can get.
I also received one of the Mystery items in my FabFitFun fall box. The Grown Alchemist Detox Night Cream (retail $42) is a rich and nourishing face cream that’s designed to detox and regenerate aging skin. It feels really great on my dry skin.
Body Care Products
I’m a huge fan of sugar scrub cubes. I have tons of DIY recipes for them on this blog, but sometimes it’s nice to buy something rather than make it. Let me tell you, these little cubes from Harper + Ari (retail $16) smell divine! They make my skin feel nice and smooth too.
The Juice Cleanse scent of the sugar scrub cubes pairs perfectly with the scent of the Human+Kind Body Souffle (retail $18) that was also included! It moisturizes really well and I have been grabbing it regularly to moisturize my dry hands.
Hair Care Products
When you’re done taking care of your skin, it’s time to turn to hair care. The FabFitFun box included two great items for hair care.
The first product is the Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair (retail $30). It’s designed to instantly repair and protect your hair from heat styling. I’m looking forward to giving it a try next time I straighten my hair.
Kaylee, my 9-year old daughter, was excited about the other hair item – an Afterspa Hair Towel Wrap (retail $18). She’s been wanting one like mine, so I let her have it. She has been wearing it every time she showers – it’s awesome.
If you like to entertain or simply enjoy cheese as much as I do, the Twine Cheeseboard with Plate (retail $30) is a fun addition to this season’s box. It’s made from acacia wood and has a removable ceramic plate and stainless steel tools.
Was it Worth It?
If you weren’t adding up the value as we went, the total retail value of the items in my first FabFitFun box was $233. They were all high-quality, full-size products that I can use.
So I’d say yes, for $49.99 FabFitFun is definitely worth it if you’re into discovering new fashion, beauty, fitness and lifestyle products! I have even better news – I a discount code for you…
