One of the wonderful things about childhood are long summer days where you get to have fun using your imagination in all sorts of ways. Dolls can help to create so many of those experiences for kids, so my daughters have always had them.
Kaylee loves dolls, and she has been talking about American Girl dolls for a while now, so she’s been having a blast with the two huge boxes of toys that American Girl sent us to unbox and review this summer.
Did you watch the first video in the series already? If you did, then you know she received the Camp American Girl Outdoor Games. It’s such a fun little set that actually works (you can watch the darts stick to the target in the video)!
In addition to the dart-shooting bow, this set also includes a really fun bean bag toss game that includes two bean bag toss boards and two sets of three colorful bean bags. Kaylee and Abby teamed up and beat me, although they were both really sweet and pushed one of my bean bags into its hole to help me out (watch it in the video).
There’s even a flag football game that includes a realistic looking football and two flag belts with colorful ribbons that can be pulled off and stuck back on with velcro. Kaylee wanted me to play flag football with Abby when we were filming the unboxing video, but I had to forfeit because the flag belt wouldn’t fit me. I’m not sure that’s fair, but Kaylee and Abby are so cute together that I’ll let is slide 😉
Then the winner of the Camp American Girl Outdoor Games receives the golden trophy, also included! Abby received the trophy for beating me at the Bean Bag Toss game and Flag Football!
