You can also use a silicone lid to store leftovers in the fridge. It creates an airtight seal over the inner pot, which helps to keep your food fresh and prevent spills.

When using a silicone lid to store leftovers in the fridge, it’s important to ensure that the food has cooled down to room temperature before covering it with the lid. This prevents excess moisture from forming on the inside of the lid, which can make food spoil more quickly.

I love using my Instant Pot silicone lid for leftovers because it makes for an easy cleanup and I don’t have to dirty a food storage dish. It also makes reheating leftovers of things like black beans so easy because you can just pop it back into the base unit to heat up.

I personally like the silicone sling I have because it has an interlocking handle that stay put during pressure cooking. It makes it easy to lift things like my gluten free cheesecake out of the Instant Pot.

I don’t recommend the glass and silicone springform pan that Instant Pot sells though. It warps very easily and moisture tends to get in and ruin things like Instant Pot cheesecake.
